Each plan has a total storage allowance (10 MB on Free, 100 MB on Starter, 1 GB on Plus, 15 GB on Pro, 2 TB on Max). It covers all files in your live projects added together, so one large upload can use the whole allowance.
- File too large for your plan: this single upload is bigger than your whole allowance.
- Storage limit reached: this upload plus what you already host is over the allowance.
How to fix it
- Shrink images with the free Image Compressor; it often halves a site's size.
- Archive or delete projects you no longer need.
- Upgrade to a plan with more storage. The File Size Checker shows which plan a file fits.
