How to Publish a Page Straight From Claude or ChatGPT

Your AI assistant just built a page. Instead of copying the code into a file and uploading it, connect Droply once and ask the assistant to put it online. It replies with a live link.

How do I publish a page from Claude or ChatGPT?

Add Droply as a connector: in Claude or ChatGPT, add a custom connector with the URL https://droply.so/mcp, sign in to Droply once and click Allow. From then on, ask “put this page online” and the assistant publishes it and replies with a link like birthday-quiz.droply.page. It works on the free plan. Without a connector, you copy the code into an HTML file and upload it yourself.

Why connect instead of copy-paste

A shared chat link shows the conversation, not the page. The manual route is to save the code as an HTML file and upload it (step by step in our guide to sharing AI-made pages). With the connector, the assistant does those steps itself:

  • No files to save. The assistant sends the page to Droply directly.
  • Updates keep the same link.Ask for a change and say “update the page”. Everyone you already sent the link to sees the new version.
  • Not just HTML. Markdown reports, CSV data, SVG graphics and multi-file sites work too.

Set it up in Claude

  1. Open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Droply and paste https://droply.so/mcp.
  3. Click Connect, sign in to Droply (or create a free account) and click Allow.

Set it up in ChatGPT

  1. Open Settings, then Apps & Connectors, and add a custom connector. You may need to turn on developer mode under Advanced first.
  2. Use https://droply.so/mcp as the server URL, with OAuth sign-in.
  3. Sign in to Droply when asked and click Allow.

Using Claude Code, Cursor or another tool that supports MCP? The developer docs have the one-line setup for each.

Things to ask once it is connected

  • “Make me a one-page invitation for Saturday's barbecue and put it online as bbq-saturday.”
  • “Publish this report so I can send it to my team.”
  • “Change the prices on my menu page to the ones below and update it.”
  • “How many views has my menu page had?”

The name you pick becomes the address: bbq-saturday.droply.page. Leave it out and Droply picks one for you. Renaming later changes the link, so pick the name before you send it around.

What the assistant can and cannot do

  • It can publish, update, rename and list your projects, add or remove a password (Plus and up), show a project's views, and move a project to the trash (you can restore it for 7 days).
  • It works within your plan. The free plan covers one project, so the assistant updates that one instead of making a new one. Paid plans add more projects, custom domains and removing the Droply badge.
  • It only reaches your Droply account after you click Allow.

Before you share the link

  • Ask the assistant to add a page title and preview tags, so the link looks good in chats. Our Meta Tag Preview shows how it will look.
  • Check that the page has no secret API keys in it. Anyone can read a web page's source.

Let your AI assistant put pages online for you.
